After a weeks of talks about who will handle the PPV event, the bout between Pacquiao vs Hatton has already been signed. HBO will handle the PPV event come May 2. Previously, there have been talks on who will handle the PPV event. Bob Arum, the promoter of Manny Pacquiao said that Showtime, the rival of HBO is being considered to handle the event. Both Bob Arum and Richard Schaffer who is the promoter of Ricky Hatton have already weighs if which network is much much better. Both Arum and Schaffer agrees that HBO will do the event. The factors that leads to the decision is that HBO has a much better and industry leader in pay-per-view boxing.
